Dreaming in Turquoise

Since I'll be leaving in a few days for the beautiful beaches of the west coast, I've found myself thinking in turquoise quite often. Not only is it one of my personal favorite colors, but it is the ideal hue to fill any beach house with calming and coastal vibes, which I will definitely be feeling in exactly one week. I love the way turquoise can add warmth to a space while also keeping it cool. It can fit in any space, be it a bedroom, living room, or even a kitchen. It's a color not frequently used in interiors, but when it is used right it can be so beautiful. My dorm room was built around my two favorite pillows I've ever seen, featured in an image below, and I've added turquoise elements to compliment them ever since I fell in love with them before freshman year. I know my bedroom will always stick to a turquoise color scheme because I'll never be able to part with these pillows. Here are just a few stunning photos that I found on my favorite design site, Home Bunch, that really show how turquoise can be used in a bright and sleek way, while also giving the space a coastal vibe.
