Sevilla

Made it to Sevilla last night! Today was not the greatest start, having to wake up at 7 am for class registration, but all is well and I successfully registered for the two classes I wanted at the Spanish university, a colloquial Spanish class for exchange students and advertising in mass media. I took a long run along the river to better explore Sevilla since we arrived so late last night, and then we toured el Real Alcazar, a palace here in town, followed by a tour through the tiny streets of Santa Cruz. For lunch today I went to the mercado, which I expected to be much like Mercado de San Miguel, but I actually liked it much better! They had so many different stations that were better organized, and the market was so much quieter and more relaxing. The design style was also great, sort of mid century modern with pops of color from all the different foods. I ate a tomato salad and lots of fruit to go along with it.
