Dinner and a View

Dinner tonight featured a long walk down 5th avenue to the Broadway location of Sweet Green, a salad company I had been absolutely dying to try. It exceeded expectation, offering the most salad ingredients I've ever seen, including all of my favorites. I could tell the place had a system in order, and I was very much a first-timer taking my time to decide what would make the perfect salad. Hopefully in time I will learn to order more efficiently and not make the people around me impatient. After creating my salad for the evening, I strolled to nearby Madison Square Park to eat it, as I gazed into a twilight-lit pond and up at beautiful illuminated buildings. Right afterward, we walked through MadSqEats, a featured food festival for the month of May, and bought Momofuku truffles and cookies.
